Eighteen years ago I came to South East Alaska with two teams of horses and a partner and a boss and helped start the Sea Horse Trollies Business in Ketchikan Alaska, giving horse drawn trolley rides to the tourists.  After the season closed there were various jobs and the last one  was a prep cook and dishwasher and land guide at a lodge North of Ketchikan on the mainland.  It wasthere that my self was seriously injured and all of my dreams of working in Alaska went down hill.  Being permanately- partially disabled,  Now it was needed to find something else to do.  After many years of fighting to get my disability, my life needed some purpose so then it was decided to take up the hobby that had consumed me. Photography. There has not been any proper training, as yet, and have learned the hard way. Through error and more expense than could be  afforded.

Now that there has been  received the very kind help from Vocational Rehabilitation and so many more to mention and thank, I am on my way to a future of more advanced photography and the photography business itself.  Photography and the designs of my photos is a very important part of my life. It shall always be.

My recent birthday brought me to be 59 years todate. Proudly I wear my age and limited physical ability. My hair is long and red and turning white, my skin is freckled and tattooed. My height is 5'1" and my weight is negotiable.

My home residence is in Klawock,Alaska in a two bedroom house built around a 1966 Airstream trailer. My house is filled with all the rocks and bones and feathers and wood  and fur that I have gathered and artwork that has been given me over a term of 18 years.  My side  windows look out westward as I sit at the computer to some awesome sunsets and always the Pacific Ocean.  The eastward view is the local city Maintence yard and a Eagle nest in a Large Dead snag that looks like a Needle. My best pal and life saver and compaion, my wolf-shepard male-Visitor, is now spending the last of his 14 1/2 years out at in the woods at my second residence with my life partner and free and next to the ocean - under the mountains. With all the comforts a wolf breed family member should have.  He is now gone to the run with the wolves with the great spirits. He died on Otober 8 th 2005. T- Girl of 121/2 years is with me always. Enough said about  my shadow. Although she does allow me to sleep on my bed. My soul wolf she is. Half wolf and half Malmute of record. Recently aquired by rescue there is a new addition to the family. Her name is Teesaa. Also Samokawa the boy wolf that stayed with me and Glen is now with me since the passing of Glen. So we are now a 4 wolf family. Well they al least let me think that I rule, but we all know that is not  true.

Our house sits across a dirt road about 150 feet from the tidewater. It is surrounded with the local Sitka Spruce and Hemlock and Cedar and Alder with an abundant supply of wild flowers and berries.

The  favorite things are always with me. Truly my beliefs are in the spirits and Mother Nature.

My best  friends and constant companions, are my Wolf Girl "T", who has on more than one occasion, saved my life and always listens and takes care of me no matter what the situation,my new rescue girl Teesaa and my wolf boy by the name of Samokawa. I also call him SamA or Wolfboy. He is awesome and way more wolf acting than "T" is.

The  love of my life was a Commercial  Fish and Dungeness Crab fisherman and a  boat builder. a carpenter and a trapper and a man of great strength , heart , generosity, talent an wit.

He also liked Rocks. We both liked rocks......... He is no longer with us. He died on April 10, 2006
